5a) Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we send you e-mails about deals, news and game pre-orders. Customers who created an account with us receive commercial communications about similar products based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and the applicable rules for existing customers); other subscribers receive them based on the consent given in the subscription form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
We process your e-mail address, language, date and source of subscription (form, registration, account), for form sign-ups also your IP address (abuse prevention), and records of each e-mail sent.
Click measurement: links in the newsletter go through our server (tophry.sk/nl-klik.php), which records which link or product was clicked so we know which offers interest you. We do not track e-mail opens and use no cookies or tracking pixels for this.
You can unsubscribe at any time with one click in the footer of every e-mail, in your account settings (Language and currency → Newsletter) or on the newsletter unsubscribe page. After unsubscribing we send you no more newsletters; order e-mails (keys, invoices) are still delivered. We keep subscription data while you are subscribed and, after unsubscribing, only a record of the opt-out so we do not e-mail you by mistake.
5b) Website traffic statistics
To see how our website is used (which pages are visited, where visitors come from, which campaigns work), our own server records each page view: time, page address, the website you came from, campaign name from the link (utm parameters), device type, browser, IP address and whether you are logged in. A visitor is identified by a code derived from the IP address, browser and day, which changes every day. We use no cookies and no external analytics service for this.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring traffic and protecting the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The IP address and browser are deleted after 90 days, aggregated counts are kept for at most 3 years. The approximate location of an IP address is determined from a local database (DB-IP); the IP is not sent to any third party.
6) Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure core functionality (login, cart, security), and—if you allow—analytics and marketing tags. Details, categories, typical cookie names, and your choices are explained in our :cookiePolicy.
